Job Summary

Senior Accountant responsible for compilation, consolidation and analysis of financial data, overseeing daily financial records to ensure accuracy and GAAP compliance. Performs cost and general accounting, prepares MIS reports, budgets and forecasts, analyzes business operations and maintains real-time financial data. Requires strong ERP (SAP) skills and extensive accounting knowledge to support strategic finance decisions.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform general or cost accounting activities with insight and depth of understanding.
•Apply accounting techniques to classify and record financial transactions and assist in MIS reports, budgets, and forecasts.
•Prepare, examine and analyze financial records and reports for accuracy and conformance to standards; ensure data accuracy in financial reports.
•Develop, maintain and analyze budgets; ensure real-time availability of financial reports and data fluidity.
•Conduct internal audits of accounts payable, payroll distribution, fixed assets, and cash; ensure journal entries are accurate and properly corrected when needed.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's Degree in Accounts and Finance
•CPA or ACCA professional qualification
•Minimum 5 years of working experience with 3 years of relevant experience, GCC experience a plus
•Excellent knowledge of GAAP and financial processes; proficiency with ERP systems, preferably SAP
•Knowledge of month-end processes, financial reporting and budgeting concepts
