Job Summary

Lead a Field Engineering team of Solutions Architects supporting Databricks’ Manufacturing segment. Manage pre-sales leaders focused on enterprise software, big data/analytics, data engineering, data science, and AI—hiring, onboarding, coaching, and scaling a high-growth team. Partner with Sales and internal technical teams to drive revenue, meet sales and consumption targets, and help customers succeed through technical qualification, proof of concepts, architecture discussions, and product demonstrations.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage a team of Solutions Architects for the Manufacturing Segment of Databricks Field Engineering.
•Hire, train, grow, and manage a high-performing team while maintaining a robust hiring pipeline.
•Partner with Sales leadership to hit sales and consumption targets while ensuring customer success.
•Keep the team technically ahead by driving continuous learning and mastery of the data+AI technology stack.
•Lead best practices across technical qualification, proof of concepts, architecture discussions, and product demonstrations.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 172,500 - 237,150

Key Requirements

•3+ years of experience building and leading technical pre-sales teams, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, and enabling pre-sales professionals.
•7+ years of experience in the Data + AI space with a technical product (data warehousing, big data, data science, machine learning, or AI).
•A deep technical understanding of the impact Data + AI can drive across industry segments.
•Experience leading technical qualification, proof of concepts, architecture discussions, and product demonstrations.
•Demonstrated architectural influence to guide complex architectures toward scalable solutions.
