Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete welding assignments and procedures for construction and repair of site structural stands on time, safely, and professionally.
  • •Cut, trim, or scarf metal, and fit and fabricate components to dimensions for assembling structural forms.
  • •Analyze engineering drawings and specifications with supervision to plan welding operations when procedural information is unavailable.
  • •Utilize hand welding and flame-cutting equipment to weld and assemble metal components into structural forms.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • •2+ years of experience with TIG (tungsten inert gas) or GTAW (gas tungsten arc welding).
  • •5+ years preferred experience using SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, oxy-acetylene, fitting, and arc gouging.
  • •Knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, AWS/ASME codes, and engineering requirements.
  • •Valid driver’s license; must be able to meet physical and safety requirements of the role.
