Key Responsibilities

  • •Define, plan, and drive projects and program plans based on management and senior technical guidance.
  • •Apply project management principles to enable the deployment and operation of AMD’s internal Instinct fleet.
  • •Own projects/processes of significant technical importance and outcomes that span engineering project areas.
  • •Initiate improvements to existing processes and methods to improve project and team efficiency.
  • •Provide project status visibility, facilitate cross-team dependencies/communications, and develop mitigation plans for issues and risks; publish performance data via dashboards and recurring reports.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering or a related major.
  • •Strong knowledge of project management principles and ability to apply them across small to large projects.
  • •Responsibility for projects/processes of significant technical importance across engineering project areas.
  • •Strong organizational, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • •Proficiency with productivity and project tools including Jira, Confluence, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
