Job Summary

Lead enterprise architecture and platform modernization for American Express’s customer experience capabilities across web and mobile. You’ll design scalable, secure, personalized digital experiences within the Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem, define technical roadmaps and reusable patterns, and drive integrations across Adobe, identity, CRM, APIs, and internal services. Partner with product, UX, marketing technology, data engineering, security, and infrastructure teams while staying hands-on with solution design and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

•Define the enterprise architecture and technical roadmap for Adobe Experience Cloud platforms, including AEM, Adobe Analytics, Customer Journey Analytics, Journey Optimizer, and AEP.
•Lead architecture for highly scalable, cloud-native digital experiences supporting millions of customers globally.
•Design reusable architecture patterns, integration frameworks, and reference implementations for the Adobe ecosystem.
•Drive enterprise integration between Adobe Experience Cloud, customer identity platforms, CRM systems, APIs, and internal business services.
•Provide technical leadership across solution design reviews, architecture governance, production readiness, and mentor senior engineers/architects/technical leads.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 144,250 - 256,250 annually

Key Requirements

•12+ years of software engineering experience with enterprise-scale distributed systems.
•5+ years leading enterprise architecture or Staff/Principal engineering initiatives.
•Extensive experience implementing and architecting Adobe Experience Cloud solutions.
•Deep expertise with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sites, Assets, and headless CMS.
•Experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe Campaign, and Adobe Journey Optimizer, plus integration patterns/APIs.
