Key Responsibilities

•Operate vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
•Transport loads safely and in a timely manner over required route, obeying all traffic laws and safety regulations.
•Maneuver truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas; follow loading crew signals.
•Assist with loading and unloading goods and materials using specialized equipment; unload empty skids and return equipment.
•Maintain signed invoices, bills of lading, and other required paperwork; deliver documentation when route is complete, and facilitate routine truck service checks.

•Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff at delivery points.
•Ability to remain focused in a busy environment.
•Must hold either a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license depending on state, appropriate for weight of vehicle to be operated.
•Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state department(s) of transportation regulations.
•Must pass DOT physical, as trucks driven are over 10k lbs.
