Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the UK and EU Regulatory Liaison function, overseeing in-country compliance officers, managing local regulatory change, and scoping local requirements into Centers of Excellence.
  • •Provide strategic vision, prioritization, resourcing, and hiring plans for multiple Central Compliance Centers of Excellence.
  • •Directly manage and develop a team of 3–4 compliance officers, including mentorship and performance management.
  • •Oversee the Global/Regional AML program and investor PEP/sanctions screening, including relevant AML/financial crime regulatory filings.
  • •Administer the Code of Ethics program and compliance policies/procedures framework, and champion adoption of AI and compliance technology to streamline workflows.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; advanced degree (JD, MBA) preferred.
  • •Progressive compliance experience in financial services, with exposure to asset management, hedge funds, or investment advisory.
  • •Demonstrated leadership across AML/financial crime, policy management, and core compliance, including direct engagement with EU regulators such as the FCA.
  • •Proven people management experience leading high-performing compliance teams.
  • •Strong technical knowledge of AML/financial crime regulation (FATF, EU AML Directives, UK POCA), PEP/sanctions frameworks, Code of Ethics programs, and conflicts management.
