Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure the company complies with all applicable laws, regulations and RBI guidelines per Companies Act and regulatory requirements.
  • •Manage end-to-end secretarial compliances, including maintenance of statutory registers and filings with authorities.
  • •Coordinate and organize board meetings, prepare agendas, attend meetings, and draft minutes.
  • •Vetting, drafting and negotiating contracts to ensure coverage of commercial, contractual, technical and administration matters.
  • •Monitor changes in laws/regulations, provide guidance to balance regulatory compliance with business needs, and mitigate risks.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 1,000,000 - 1,500,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of experience in compliance or risk management within the financial services industry, preferably fintech/NBFC
  • •Thorough understanding of Indian financial regulations, including RBI guidelines, AML/CFT requirements, and data protection laws
  • •Proven experience developing and implementing compliance programs, policies, and controls in line with RBI guidelines
  • •Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and mitigate compliance risks
  • •Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to convey regulatory concepts to stakeholders at all levels
