Job Function: Legal, Risk & Compliance

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure the company complies with all applicable laws, regulations and RBI guidelines per Companies Act and regulatory requirements.
•Manage end-to-end secretarial compliances, including maintenance of statutory registers and filings with authorities.
•Coordinate and organize board meetings, prepare agendas, attend meetings, and draft minutes.
•Vetting, drafting and negotiating contracts to ensure coverage of commercial, contractual, technical and administration matters.
•Monitor changes in laws/regulations, provide guidance to balance regulatory compliance with business needs, and mitigate risks.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 1,000,000 - 1,500,000 annually

Key Requirements

•4+ years of experience in compliance or risk management within the financial services industry, preferably fintech/NBFC
•Thorough understanding of Indian financial regulations, including RBI guidelines, AML/CFT requirements, and data protection laws
•Proven experience developing and implementing compliance programs, policies, and controls in line with RBI guidelines
•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and mitigate compliance risks
•Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to convey regulatory concepts to stakeholders at all levels
