Key Responsibilities

  • •Install telematics systems and devices on vehicles and construction/heavy equipment and customer assets.
  • •Operate machinery as needed for testing during installations.
  • •Remove and replace ignition systems and integrate communication between keypad and telematics systems.
  • •Handle varied installation scenarios, including custom wiring harnesses when accessing CAN network on vehicles and equipment.
  • •Travel to client sites or rental yards to complete installation cases and troubleshoot issues as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certificate preferred.
  • •Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools; mobile electronics/automotive electronics experience preferred.
  • •Experience in a related field (e.g., electrician, HVAC tech, car audio installer) and hard-working with excellent attention to detail.
  • •Prior telematics experience not required; must be willing to learn and own tools (some specialty tools provided).
  • •Must be open to traveling within 250 miles of the local branch for up to a week at a time; able to pass a background check and a 10-panel drug screen.
