Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate loaders, excavators, and a water truck safely and efficiently within equipment parameters.
  • •Maintain safe slopes on excavations and ensure proper barricading to avoid hazards.
  • •Perform minor servicing and maintenance, refer major issues to the supervisor, and keep machines clean.
  • •Keep time and material records and manage weight requirements for loads leaving the pit.
  • •Assist labor crew with daily plant operations and communicate promptly with the paving crew on material flaws.

Key Requirements

  • •1–2 years of front-end wheel loader experience and/or training (or equivalent education and experience).
  • •Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, and multiply).
  • •Must obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • •Safety-minded with strong performance, attendance, and punctuality; must pass pre-employment physical and controlled substance testing.
  • •Must be able to work overtime, nights, and weekends as needed and follow OSHA, MSHA, DOT, and other rules.
