Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide personal financial counseling and management services to service members and their families at military installations.
  • •Deliver one-on-one counseling, consultations, briefings/presentations, and referrals as part of counseling and related support.
  • •Develop and provide informational financial materials to service members and families.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree required (may consider associate degree with 4 years’ experience, or high school diploma with 6 years’ experience in lieu of a bachelor's).
  • •3+ years of financial counseling experience.
  • •Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English.
  • •Be able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation and pass the OCI process.
  • •Must have one of: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
