Job Summary

Lead the design, development, and deployment of GeoAI-enabled geospatial solutions for large infrastructure and land projects. You will write production-grade Python workflows, integrate AI/ML into GIS environments, mentor junior staff, and shape WSP's GeoAI approach while delivering high-quality geospatial insights for international clients.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and develop GeoAI solutions — including object detection, feature extraction, change detection, and predictive spatial modelling — using Esri tools and open-source AI frameworks.
•Write production-grade Python toolboxes, automation scripts, and spatial data pipelines for ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, and SDE environments.
•Integrate deep learning frameworks (PyTorch or TensorFlow) and ML libraries into geospatial workflows to solve client-specific problems at scale.
•Lead technical delivery on GeoAI project workstreams across utilities network analysis, land ownership and registry data, and water/environmental constraint modelling.
•Mentor and support junior GIS analysts and developers, reviewing code and promoting best practices in spatial data science.

Key Requirements

•Degree in Engineering, GIS, Geography, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
•10+ years of experience in GIS / GeoAI / spatial technologies.
•Experience working with international clients (preferably UK-based projects).
•Strong Python skills and experience with Esri tools (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS API, ArcPy) and data workflows.
•Desirable familiarity with cloud GIS environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and data transformation tools such as FME.
