Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor system-estate health signals (compute, storage, OS, virtualization) from a consolidated dashboard and acknowledge alerts within first-response SLA targets.
  • •Perform initial review using the alert details, recent changes, and CMDB before acting.
  • •Classify incidents by severity and customer impact, confirm the owning tower, route/assign tickets accurately, and reassess severity as impact evolves.
  • •Execute permitted L1 actions by matching alert signatures to documented runbooks, resolving common issues end to end and documenting steps with evidence.
  • •Escalate unresolved or out-of-scope issues with a clean handoff to Senior Engineers, initiate major-incident bridges when needed, and track escalations to closure with service restoration confirmation.

Key Requirements

  • •B.E./B.Tech (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
  • •3–5 years of experience in systems administration, preferably in NOC/SOC or IT operations.
  • •Good understanding of Linux and Windows, including processes, services, and log analysis.
  • •Working knowledge of operating systems and familiarity with compute, storage, and virtualization concepts (VMs, hypervisors, basic networking).
  • •Incident-management fundamentals with severity-based triage and strong written communication for documentation and escalation handoffs, including rotational 24x7 shifts.
