Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical and supervisory leadership to area measurement technicians and facilities to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient operations.
  • •Manage safety, environmental, governmental compliance, employee training and development, budgets, technical support, gas balancing, and personnel functions in the measurement area.
  • •Monitor and minimize lost and unaccounted (L&U) gas.
  • •Assess measurement facility and technician performance.
  • •Assist with development and management of operating and capital budgets, and support measurement programs and projects (including after-hours issues).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, or a combination of work experience and education meeting minimum hiring standards.
  • •Minimum of ten years’ experience in natural gas measurement.
  • •Adequate computer skills (MS operating system, MS Word, MS Excel, measurement software).
  • •Knowledge of AGA and GPA standards and guidelines.
  • •Knowledge of meter types and measurement methods (orifice, turbine, PD, rotary, ultrasonic meters, and gas chromatography) and meter-station design, construction, and troubleshooting.
