Job Summary

Develop and deliver fabric solutions that support product strategy while balancing cost, speed, quality, innovation and sustainability. Manage global mill and supplier relationships across fast-fashion supply bases, negotiate pricing and lead times, and identify new suppliers. Partner with Design, Buying, Technical and Merchandising on fabric selection, innovation, lab dips and approvals, and resolve sourcing issues to keep production on track.

•Source innovative fabrics aligned to seasonal trends and commercial requirements, and manage global supplier relationships.
•Negotiate fabric prices, minimum order quantities, payment terms and lead times to achieve margin targets.
•Collaborate with Design, Buying, and Technical to meet aesthetic, performance, price and compliance requirements.
•Drive fabric innovation via new developments, finishes and manufacturing techniques, including sustainability improvements.
•Manage critical path activities (lab dips, developments, bulk submissions/approvals) and ensure on-time delivery by resolving sourcing challenges quickly.

•Significant experience in fabric sourcing for a fast-fashion or high-volume retailer.
•Strong knowledge of jersey and knit fabric construction and manufacturing.
•Established network of global fabric mills and suppliers across Far East, Turkey and Europe.
•Proven negotiation skills with a commercial mindset and understanding of fabric costing/manufacturing processes.
•Knowledge of fabric testing and quality standards, plus critical path management experience and familiarity with PLM/ERP or sourcing management systems.
