Job Summary

Lead and grow a Factory Automation territory across Eastern Canada (Quebec or the Maritimes), building sales pipelines to exceed targets. •Develop and execute sales strategies to exceed targets and drive revenue growth within the assigned Factory Automation territory.
•Identify and pursue new business opportunities and market trends; build and maintain a pipeline focused on acquisition and opportunity closure.
•Engage channel partners to grow sales and market share, hold them accountable to targets and joint business plans, and maintain relationships with key customers.
•Provide technical expertise, address customer issues promptly, and deliver product presentations and demonstrations showcasing Emerson’s solutions.
•Prepare sales reports and provide accurate forecasts; participate in the annual budgeting process and stay current on industry trends and competitive dynamics.

Key Requirements

•Post-secondary technical graduate in Engineering or a college degree in Instrumentation, Controls and Automation or a related field.
•3+ years of relevant technical sales experience in mechanical/electrical automation or a process industry.

•Strong presentation, communication, and networking skills in-person and virtually.
•Ability to travel 25%–35% within the assigned territory, including overnight/extended travel days.
