Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of mass affluent clients, delivering personalized service and providing ongoing sales and service for retail banking products and services.
  • •Develop and maintain an understanding of client financial needs using personal financial planning analysis; coordinate with financial advisors on investment account objectives and policies.
  • •Stay current on economic, legal, financial planning, investment trends, and market issues; act as a personal financial planning/advisory resource for clients and their professional advisors.
  • •Drive revenue growth, profitability, and retention by developing new clients, expanding services, marketing products, and using automated sales and referral processes while monitoring sales activity and pipeline.
  • •Coordinate with Truist IRM partners and external centers of influence to deliver integrated advice and ensure compliance within audit, regulatory, and internal frameworks.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree with a concentration in business, accounting, finance, banking, or equivalent financial services experience.
  • •Minimum five years of financial services experience working with clients dealing with banking, investments, and/or retail lending (or one year in a financial client relationship manager role).
  • •Advanced knowledge of personal financial planning/advisory, insurance, investment management, asset allocation, and retail credit/bank products for the mass affluent market.
  • •Active and maintained Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65 in lieu of 66) plus applicable Insurance licenses (Life, Health, and Variable); must obtain/transfer/comply within specified timeframes.
  • •Strong interpersonal, sales, relationship management, and communication skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office basics.
