Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain ownership of site environmental compliance programs for ODS, TRI, Tier II, TSCA, RCRA/waste compliance, SPCC, water and groundwater programs.
  • •Prepare and submit required regulatory reports and documentation (including maintaining compliance databases and annual reports).
  • •Serve as environmental subject matter expert and interface with operations, engineering, and outside regulatory agencies on permitting, reporting, inspections, and investigations.
  • •Develop and maintain environmental procedures, compliance strategies, and management systems; support continuous improvement and training.
  • •Monitor environmental parameters/variables for assigned units and support emissions inventory and sustainability reporting; provide rotational on-call support after hours/weekends.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or another appropriate engineering degree (or related technical discipline).
  • •Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • •Proficiency with US Federal and Texas Air, Water, Wastewater, and Waste regulations and compliance demonstrations.
  • •Understanding of air emissions calculations and emission reporting processes.
  • •Experience developing and/or managing environmental compliance systems and communicating regulatory requirements effectively.
