Job Summary

Own environmental compliance programs for the LyondellBasell Bayport Site, covering water and waste with significant support for air programs. Manage and report across ODS, TRI, Tier II, TSCA, RCRA/waste, SPCC, potable water, and groundwater compliance activities. Serve as the environmental subject matter expert, interpret and communicate regulatory requirements, support permitting and inspections, and develop procedures, training, and continuous improvement initiatives. Handle rotational on-call responsibilities after hours and on weekends.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain ownership of site environmental compliance programs for ODS, TRI, Tier II, TSCA, RCRA/waste compliance, SPCC, water and groundwater programs.
•Prepare and submit required regulatory reports and documentation (including maintaining compliance databases and annual reports).
•Serve as environmental subject matter expert and interface with operations, engineering, and outside regulatory agencies on permitting, reporting, inspections, and investigations.
•Develop and maintain environmental procedures, compliance strategies, and management systems; support continuous improvement and training.
•Monitor environmental parameters/variables for assigned units and support emissions inventory and sustainability reporting; provide rotational on-call support after hours/weekends.

Key Requirements

•Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
•Proficiency with US Federal and Texas Air, Water, Wastewater, and Waste regulations and compliance demonstrations.
•Understanding of air emissions calculations and emission reporting processes.
•Experience developing and/or managing environmental compliance systems and communicating regulatory requirements effectively.
