Set up and operate a single-blade saw by reading production scheduling sheets and identifying required materials. Ensure incoming material meets quality specifications, perform setups and feeding to match requirements, and periodically check equipment performance. Offload, stack, and maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas while completing pre-shift equipment inspections, preventive maintenance, LOTO, and production recordkeeping to meet safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Set up and operate a single-blade saw based on production scheduling sheets and required materials.
•Verify material meets quality specifications (grade, size, moisture content) and ensure finished products comply with standards.
•Perform setups and feed material according to specifications, and periodically check equipment performance.
•Offload and stack material according to procedures; cover, label, and band finished components if required.
•Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area by completing pre-shift inspections, performing LOTO and preventive maintenance, maintaining production records, and participating in safety/CI programs.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED preferred (not required).
•Minimum 3 months of experience using saws or similar equipment; manufacturing and assembling experience preferred.
•Working knowledge of basic math preferred.
•Must be at least 18 years of age.
•Ability to follow established safety and quality procedures and complete required checklists and recordkeeping.
