Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and execute engineering of transmission projects up to 765kV, including initial project execution layout and disciplined engineering practices.
  • •Create and maintain project schedules; conduct weekly or bi-weekly project meetings and coordinate multi-disciplinary internal/external workflows.
  • •Coordinate with clients on project status and support project meetings, maintaining clear communication and forecasting requirements for resource planning.
  • •Apply transmission line design expertise using PLS-CADD and support design-to-construction deliverables (e.g., structure staking, foundations, assembly drawings, estimates, and construction support).
  • •Support project managers with status reports, scope/schedule/budget development, out-of-scope identification, and client relationship development; travel as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • •7-10 years’ experience in the transmission field of designing/managing projects and leading multi-disciplinary teams.

  • •Understanding of the NESC, RUS, and/or GO-95.
  • •Strong understanding of transmission line fundamentals and PLS-CADD operation.
