Job Summary

Provide specialized instruction and remediation to at-risk high school students, adapting the K12 curriculum to meet state standards. Serve as a daily resource on MTSS, coordinate Tier 3 interventions, and train staff on MTSS and data procedures.

Key Responsibilities

•Modify and/or adapt the K12 curriculum to meet the unique needs of students aligned with state content standards.
•Collaborate with general education teachers through individualized and small group sessions to meet targeted student goals.
•Ensure implementation of MTSS by overseeing data collection and progress monitoring at each tier and using data to plan instruction.
•Collect and maintain MTSS data, including intervention plans and lists of eligible students, and support teachers in documenting progress.
•Coordinate and track Tier 3 interventions with Family Academic Support Liaisons and other staff, and provide ongoing training and support on MTSS.

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 42,000

Key Requirements

•Bachelor degree.
•One (1) year of classroom experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Ohio State licensure in Special Education.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills, plus strong organizational and presentation skills.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and web proficiency; ability to pass a required background check.
