Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the function and Government release process from planning through rollback.
  • •Run the release calendar and dependency map across teams, making tradeoffs when timelines and quality signals conflict.
  • •Own go/no-go decisions and define “ready to ship” criteria in writing.

  • •Build strategy and roadmap to reduce release risk and cycle time using approaches like trunk-based development, feature flags, progressive rollout, canaries, automated release gates, and one-click rollback.
  • •Ensure releases meet change management, separation-of-duties, and audit requirements for applicable frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, PCI, or SOX).
