Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and deploy manufacturing processes to achieve the highest safety level across the manufacturing plant.
  • •Use predictive tools (e.g., Risk Assessments, PFMEA) to create and document standardized, stable manufacturing processes focused on safety and quality.
  • •Coach and mentor the engineering team to drive continuous improvement across plant value streams and execute productivity projects improving financial performance.
  • •Support day-to-day manufacturing process support for production teams (methods, tooling, equipment, problem solving) and collaborate with supervisors/managers to resolve safety, quality, delivery, and cost issues.
  • •Plan, develop, and implement capital equipment/tooling improvement plans and support new product development activities including APQP deliverables and qualification/approval processes.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering Field (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering).
  • •Minimum 7 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role or related field.
  • •Experience managing and leading large projects within a manufacturing facility.
  • •Proven coaching and development experience with subordinates.
  • •Practical knowledge of lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 7 Waste, 6S, TAKT time, SMED, Standard Work, Flow) and experience with fabrication/weld-fit and metal forming processes.
