Job Summary

Lead 4th-shift manufacturing operations at Raytheon’s Circuit Card Manufacturing factory, supporting Sensors High Mix and Effectors production. You’ll stand up and grow a team of 10–20 assembly, inspection, and test employees while planning and directing the production flow to achieve contractual quality, cost, and delivery targets. Drive safety and continuous improvement using Six Sigma and Lean, manage workforce planning and training, and coordinate with engineering, maintenance, production control, finance, and test teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Execute schedule and cost performance for 4th-shift production.
•Plan and forecast workforce needs, including employee hiring and training, and manage time and attendance tracking.
•Manage area layout and production flow to support quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
•Lead safety and actively drive safety improvement projects within the work environment.
•Use Six Sigma and Lean methodologies to identify root causes of failure modes, address capacity/quality/staffing issues, and implement corrective action plans.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and at least 2 years of prior relevant experience with specialized technical or operational practices.
•Supervisory, leadership, and/or manufacturing experience is required.
•Ability to obtain an Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
•Experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma (or similar process improvement methodologies) is preferred.
•Manufacturing experience in the aerospace/defense industry is preferred.
