Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with engineers, power architects, and hardware teams to co-define commodity strategy, multi-year roadmaps, and approved vendor lists for rack-level electronics.
  • •Own global end-to-end sourcing, including supplier selection/qualification, dual/multi-sourcing, capacity reservation, and performance governance to compress lead times.
  • •Define and negotiate SOWs and commercial agreements, challenge unnecessary specifications and costs, and drive value engineering for PDU and busbar designs.
  • •Manage supplier RFIs/RFPs/RFQs, including facility visits and assessment of electrical safety certification status, financial health, and capacity before awarding contracts.
  • •Standardize NPI-to-mass-production and implement inventory/WIP optimization models (including consignment and tailored JIT), establishing weekly KPIs for cost, quality, speed, yield, and resilience.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of experience in business, manufacturing, supply chain, or engineering (or 9+ years in lieu of a degree).
  • •4+ years of experience in global supply chain, commodity management, or electronics sourcing focused on datacenter power distribution, PDUs, busbars, or rack-level electrical components.
  • •Deep technical understanding of rack-level power electronics (e.g., intelligent PDUs, busbar systems, OCP Open Rack/ORv3, 48V DC distribution, rack ATS/STS, power monitoring, environmental sensing).
  • •Proven track record sourcing electrical commodities in hyperscale/server-rack OEM environments or with PDU/busbar/power-electronics suppliers.
  • •Experience negotiating complex SOWs and driving results in ambiguous, high-velocity environments with extreme timelines and massive scale.
