Salary: USD 80,700 - 115,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Associate’s degree (engineering discipline) in Materials Science/Physics/Chemistry/Surface Science (or similar) with 15 years relevant experience, or 2 years as a Development Engineer I at First Solar.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Surface Science preferred) with 5 years relevant technical experience, or 2 years as Development Engineer I at First Solar.
  • •Master’s degree in an engineering discipline (same preferred areas) with 3 years relevant technical experience, or 2 years as Development Engineer I at First Solar.
  • •Ph.D. in an engineering discipline (same preferred areas) or similar technical discipline without prior technical work experience.
  • •Experience with thin film material science and vacuum technology, including thin film deposition techniques (sputtering, ALD, evaporation) and materials characterization (VASE, XRD, XPS, UV-Vis).
