Key Responsibilities

  • •Own end-to-end derivative accounting for interest rate swaps, cross-currency swaps, FX forwards, options, and commodity derivatives across multiple client portfolios.
  • •Prepare and review hedge documentation, designation memos, risk management objectives, and effectiveness testing under ASC 815 and IFRS 9.
  • •Execute quantitative and qualitative effectiveness assessments (e.g., regression analysis, dollar-offset, hypothetical derivative method) on prospective and retrospective bases.

  • •Lead audit support by preparing work product and directly engaging with external auditors on derivative and hedge accounting matters.

Key Requirements

  • •CPA preferred; advanced degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
  • •5+ years of hands-on experience with derivative instruments and hedge accounting in public accounting, industry, or consulting.
