Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain engineering practice and compliance with RSAF Technical Orders in all jet engine/fuel shop activities.
  • •Troubleshoot, inspect, remove/installs, repair, modify, and operate engine/propellor/fuel aircraft systems, components, and associated support/test equipment.
  • •Carry out TCTO’s and special inspections when directed, including preparation of items for calibration.
  • •Provide technical activities and specialty support for intermediate-level maintenance, including evaluations/interpretations and corrective action determinations.
  • •Provide on-the-job training (OJT) for RSAF and Saudi National personnel and obtain/maintain certifications to support specialty and aircraft maintenance functions.

Key Requirements

  • •A recognised qualification to NVQ3/ONC/OND/BTEC level in a relevant technical discipline (or technical apprenticeship/equivalent, including Part 66 with relevant type training).
  • •Extensive post-qualification practical maintenance experience in an operational flying aircraft environment (or significant years on the same aircraft type, or completion of BAESSA apprenticeship).
  • •Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of aircraft maintenance and engineering.
  • •Understanding and application of human factors, error management, health & safety, and proactive hazard analysis appropriate to the role.
  • •Must hold a current Valid SEC membership.
