Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise employees and monitor safety and environmental programs, including incident investigation action items and required safety/environment meetings.
  • •Act as Outage Authority and plant/process SME, coordinating development and use of work scope packages during unit outages.
  • •Oversee outage work order plan packages (labor, materials, equipment, Lockout-Tagout, technical support, and Quality Assurance requirements) and manage outages performance strategies.
  • •Lead planning, scheduling, and budgeting for planned, maintenance, and forced outage work, including scope growth and cost-effective resource utilization.
  • •Oversee contractor and vendor selection and outage-related work, including work order lists, performance reporting, communications, inspections, and quality control programs.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of 8 years of power plant operations or maintenance experience, or a baccalaureate degree in Engineering (or related) plus 6 years of equivalent experience.
  • •Experience leading and supervising employees in a related field.
  • •Knowledge of Combined Cycle Power Plant operations (preferred).
  • •Knowledge of quality processes and formal programs (preferred).
  • •Strong leadership skills aligned to leadership principles, with ability to drive safety and continuous improvement.
