Key Responsibilities

•Lead, inspire and empower a talented group of engineers to self-organize and discover, innovate, implement, deploy and own end-to-end complex software solutions
•Guide your team in creation of software as a solution to an end-to-end problem in your business domain and deliver value in small batches
•Develop and grow engineering talent through effective mentoring, coaching, and retention strategies in a hyper-growing, highly competitive environment
•Ensure non-functional requirements such as availability, scalability, latency and efficiency of services are met in line with internal engineering standards
•Guide your team’s discovery, planning and execution to successfully deliver value to customers in small batches

Key Requirements

•6+ years of experience in software engineering, preferably within Extreme Programming environments (TDD, Pair Programming, Simple Design, Continuous Refactoring)
•2+ years of hands-on technical leadership and people management experience
•Experience in Distributed Systems Architecture (Microservices, Event-Driven, RESTful Services)
•Experience building, maintaining & improving with Trunk Based Development and Continuous Delivery
•Solid experience designing, implementing, monitoring and scaling web apps and APIs
