Key Responsibilities

  • •Inspect welding activities for piping, pipelines, structures, pressure vessels, and equipment.
  • •Review approved WPS, PQR, and welder qualification records; verify welder qualifications before welding.
  • •Conduct visual inspections including material identification and joint fit-up; verify consumables and welding parameters (preheating, interpass temperature, PWHT).
  • •Coordinate NDT activities (RT, UT, MT, PT, PMI), review NDT reports, and monitor repair of welding defects.
  • •Maintain weld maps and inspection records, issue non-conformance reports, coordinate with related teams, and prepare daily/weekly quality reports and final documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical or Welding Engineering.
  • •Minimum 8 years of welding inspection experience in Oil & Gas projects.
  • •Minimum 3–5 years of offshore project experience; ADNOC Offshore experience preferred.
  • •Valid CSWIP 3.1 or AWS-CWI certification mandatory; ASNT/PCN Level II preferred.
  • •Strong knowledge of ASME Section IX, ASME B31.3, API 1104, AWS D1.1 and applicable ADNOC standards.
