Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop design criteria, horizontal and vertical alignments, superelevation, barrier/guiderail design, and spot elevation details
  • •Identify utility conflicts and coordinate resolutions based on interdisciplinary constructability reviews, client feedback, and utility needs
  • •Develop construction specifications, quantities, and cost estimates
  • •Implement 3D CADD modeling techniques
  • •Develop technical reports, tables, and graphics per client and/or internal AECOM standards
  • •Adhere to and promote AECOM quality procedures
  • •Complete interdisciplinary technical reviews
  • •Contribute to internal project-related staffing decisions to facilitate meeting client schedule, scope, and budget
  • •Prepare presentations that explain technical findings, recommendations, and limitations
  • •Work collaboratively as part of a larger design team to proactively meet the client’s scope, budget, and schedule through ethical and responsible decision making.
  • •Provide support to AECOM project managers and department managers
  • •Minimal travel of up to 5 - 10% for client meetings or site visits.

Salary: USD 90,000 - 125,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent engineering degree with 4+ years of related experience
  • •Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification
  • •Demonstrated experience using Bentley OpenRoads Designer (ORD), AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or similar design highway or transportation design applications
  • •Professional Engineer (PE) license in any state, or ability to obtain PE within 1 year of hire
