Key Responsibilities

•Develop design criteria, horizontal and vertical alignments, superelevation, barrier/guiderail design, and spot elevation details
•Identify utility conflicts and coordinate resolutions based on interdisciplinary constructability reviews, client feedback, and utility needs
•Develop construction specifications, quantities, and cost estimates
•Implement 3D CADD modeling techniques
•Develop technical reports, tables, and graphics per client and/or internal AECOM standards
•Adhere to and promote AECOM quality procedures
•Complete interdisciplinary technical reviews
•Contribute to internal project-related staffing decisions to facilitate meeting client schedule, scope, and budget
•Prepare presentations that explain technical findings, recommendations, and limitations
•Work collaboratively as part of a larger design team to proactively meet the client’s scope, budget, and schedule through ethical and responsible decision making.
•Provide support to AECOM project managers and department managers
•Minimal travel of up to 5 - 10% for client meetings or site visits.

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 90,000 - 125,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent engineering degree with 4+ years of related experience
•Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification
•Demonstrated experience using Bentley OpenRoads Designer (ORD), AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or similar design highway or transportation design applications
•Professional Engineer (PE) license in any state, or ability to obtain PE within 1 year of hire
•Degree accredited by ABET (or equivalent)”],
