Key Responsibilities

  • •Broker/place primarily Clinical Trials Liability coverage plus Products Liability, Errors & Omissions, and Excess Liability for new and renewal business.
  • •Manage all aspects of placements from initial market selection through long-term servicing until coverage requirements end.
  • •Demonstrate effective negotiation skills on behalf of clients and prospects and ensure placements are timely and accurate.
  • •Develop productive business relationships with insurance underwriters and Aon local office teams.
  • •Identify and analyze prospect/client exposures, create renewal strategies and coverage proposals, and coordinate with internal units to meet customer needs.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of 5+ years of insurance brokerage and/or underwriting experience, preferred in Life Sciences Clinical Trials Liability and/or Casualty lines.
  • •Effective working knowledge of carrier underwriting practices and processes.
  • •Proven client-facing skills including effective presentations and communications.
  • •Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively at various levels in the organization.
  • •Must maintain an active Property and Casualty Brokers License (or obtain within 90 days of hire) and maintain appropriate Surplus Lines licenses.
