Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate on Ai2 and UW projects (50/50) and allocate time for independent research.
•Advance robot foundation models, focusing on scaling and generalization for real-world robotics applications.
•Develop and utilize scalable, GPU-accelerated simulation environments for large-scale training and robust sim-to-real transfer pipelines.
•Contribute to open-source methods, datasets, benchmarks, and tools to enable reproducible, distributed experimentation.
•Engage in mentoring, grant writing, and regular communication with the team and collaborators.

Key Requirements

•Are within one year of completing their PhD, or already have a PhD.
•Strong PhD-level foundation in robotics/AI research areas listed in the description.
•Extensive research experience with peer-reviewed publications at top venues (e.g., RSS, CoRL, ICRA, NeurIPS, CVPR, ECCV, ICCV).
•Postdoctoral program offering ability to pursue independent research while collaborating on Ai2 projects.
