Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and evaluate gas purchasing strategies.
  • •Analyze daily/monthly gas supply needs based on load forecasts; manage gas supply and storage to meet pipeline requirements and storage/inventory targets.
  • •Create supply plans in conjunction with Gas Supply Planning, including forecasted requirements plus injection/withdrawal activities.
  • •Negotiate and execute spot gas purchase contracts; prepare and issue requests for proposals; evaluate offers and recommend actions.
  • •Perform deal entry, confirmations, nominations, gas accounting functions (invoices and reconciliations), and maintain documentation for state regulatory reporting requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Master's degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field with one year of related experience; or Bachelor's degree with a minimum of three years of related experience (or equivalent).
  • •Understand complex written and oral communications, including technical and legal/contractual material.
  • •Communicate, persuade, and influence internal/external customers at a high level, including senior management.
  • •Write grammatically correct business correspondence and analytical reports.
  • •Perform numeric analyses involving ratios, percentages, and simple statistical methods using office software for documents and spreadsheets.
