Job Summary

Lead Boeing’s F-15 GNC effort by gathering and tracing Guidance, Navigation, and Control requirements from system to component level. Design and document GNC models and tools, collaborating with multi-discipline engineers to integrate control laws into operational flight programs. Support desktop/software/real-time simulations, hardware-in-the-loop testing, and flight testing planning, while running design reviews, analyses, and component/system tests and mentoring other engineers.

•Gather, define, and document GNC mission requirements and ensure traceability and quality from system to component level.
•Design and document GNC systems models and tools, guiding less experienced engineers in performing the designs.
•Lead, organize, and resolve cross-divisional problems to provide technical assistance to internal and external customers.
•Collaborate with multi-discipline engineers to incorporate control laws into the operational flight program.
•Support simulations, hardware-in-the-loop development/testing, and flight testing planning and execution; lead design reviews and analyses to ensure product delivery meets customer requirements.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering/Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a non-US equivalent directly related to the work statement.
•14+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelors degree, or an equivalent combination of work-related experience and technical education.
•Ability to gather, define, and document Guidance, Navigation and Control mission requirements with requirements traceability from system to component level.
•Perform and document design of Guidance, Navigation, and Control systems models and tools, and guide less experienced engineers.
•Support flight simulations (desktop, software, and real-time) and hardware-in-the-loop development/testing, and support flight testing planning and execution.
