Key Responsibilities

  • •Gather, define, and document GNC mission requirements while ensuring requirements traceability and quality from system to component level.
  • •Perform and document design of GNC system models and tools, and guide less-experienced engineers on design performance.
  • •Lead, organize, and resolve cross-divisional technical problems to provide assistance to internal and external customers.
  • •Work with multi-discipline engineers to incorporate control laws into the operational flight program.
  • •Support flight simulations, hardware-in-the-loop development and testing, flight test planning/execution, and lead design reviews, analyses, simulations, and component/system testing; author and maintain engineering documentation and train/coach others.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering/engineering technology (including manufacturing technology), computer science, data science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or equivalent directly related to the work statement.
  • •14+ years of work-related experience with a bachelors degree (or equivalent combination of work-related experience and technical education).
  • •Experience with manned aircraft GNC engineering.
  • •5+ years of flight controls experience.
  • •Mentoring or leadership experience, including support for flight test and GNC-related sustainment activities.
