Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and develop digital hardware architectures for embedded space systems
  • •Lead functional and risk analyses of 5G-NR communication equipment in space applications
  • •Be responsible for performance, reliability analyses, simulations and prototype testing
  • •Collaborate daily with multidisciplinary teams including electronics, digital signal processing, RF, telecom systems, payload, IVV, industry, antennas, mechanical, thermal, radiation, and client interfaces
  • •Develop digital signal processing algorithms for telecommunications (modem functions, pre-distortion, beamforming)

Key Requirements

  • •10 years minimum experience in architecture and development of complex digital solutions with strong signal processing and incorporation of System-on-Chips (Versal, MPSoC, RF SoC) or FPGA/ASIC
  • •Master-level degree in electronics, signal processing, telecommunications or related field
  • •Strong knowledge of 5G technologies and Matlab toolboxes (5G toolbox, communications)
  • •Solid experience in design of digital signal processing algorithms and in telecommunications engineering
  • •Knowledge of hardware design and simulation tools (Xilinx Vivado, Vitis HLS, VHDL) and standards for telecom systems (CCSDS, DVB-S/S2/S2x, DVB-RCS/RCS2)
  • •Experience with requirements tracing and configuration management tools (POLARION, DOORS, VIVALDI, GIT)
