Job Summary

Deliver printer writing system products that meet design requirements for print quality, robustness, and reliability, while ensuring regulatory and safety compliance. Develop and test printer system performance metrics (nozzle health, spray, decap, flowrate, color), collaborate on pen/ink fluidic characterization, and lead failure triage and structured problem resolution. Build and maintain an end-to-end testbed ecosystem and work cross-org with printer and manufacturing teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Participate in printer system development to demonstrate PHA and/or ink baseline performance using print quality metrics.
•Collaborate on pen fluidic and ink characterization by providing data on expected fluidic architecture and integrated system performance.
•Conduct autopsy/triage/failure tracking: collect failed printheads, perform initial triage, coordinate analysis, report findings, and assign next steps.
•Lead issue resolution using structured robust problem-solving methods.
•Establish end-to-end testbed development ecosystems and develop testbed infrastructure to support new product introduction and high-volume manufacturing.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Material, or Chemical engineering (or relevant).
•Strong analytical and empirical problem-solving skills with a technical system approach.
•Ability to think systemically, connect related issues, and work effectively with dynamic technical environments.
•Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in changing requirements and priorities.
•Fluent spoken and written English, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
