Job Summary

Deliver reliable communication services for NIWC Atlantic’s ADNS network by supporting the design, maintenance, and modernization of complex tactical and enterprise LAN/WAN environments. Provide onsite technical support to NCTAMS LANT and St. Julien’s Creek Annex, review project documentation, create IDPS based on IRD and site surveys, evaluate engineering change requests, troubleshoot routing/firewall issues, and develop test strategies for network administration and support.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide technical advice and guidance on installation, adaptation, configuration, and enhancement of technical products, programs, and systems.
•Offer onsite technical support to NCTAMS LANT and St. Julien’s Creek Annex.
•Review project documents and provide technical review comments.
•Create IDPS based on IRD and site surveys, and initiate/evaluate Engineering Change Requests (ECRs).
•Evaluate and troubleshoot LAN architecture and network traffic flow issues in complex multi-node tactical WAN/LAN environments, including firewall rules/configurations and test strategy documentation.

Salary: USD 97,750 - 132,250 annually

Key Requirements

•8+ years of related experience supporting Navy ADNS and secure/non-secure networks afloat and/or ashore, with at least 4 years supporting ADNS Airborne efforts, plus a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
•Practical understanding of Cisco routing and switching, including routing protocols, ACLs, VLANs, VLAN trunking, subnetting, 802.1X NAC, and Secure Group Tagging.
•Working knowledge of the Navy FRCB process and DISA network operations, including DISA circuit provisioning and troubleshooting.
•Knowledge of Triton UAV connectivity paths and comprehensive principles for network administration and support.
•U.S. citizenship required and must possess TS/SCI clearance (Top Secret currently; Top Secret/SCI must be able to obtain).
