Job Summary

Supervise daily operations at an asphalt plant, controlling systems that weigh and deliver aggregates and asphalt cement for heating, mixing, and loading into trucks. Conduct pre- and end-of-shift safety inspections, maintain proper heat and material flow, monitor gauges and machinery performance, and support maintenance and reporting. Partner with plant crew members to keep production efficient while strictly following OSHA/MSHA and company safety and policy requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Supervise employees and oversee asphalt plant operations, controlling the process to weigh and deliver aggregates and asphalt cement.
•Perform pre-shift inspections to confirm the plant is operational and safety items are in order.
•Follow all company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
•Maintain proper heat in the dryer by adjusting thermostatic controls and ensuring proper flow of materials.
•Observe gauges/dials and machinery operations to meet processing specifications; assist with maintenance and compile production/maintenance reports.

Key Requirements
