Key Responsibilities

  • •Assign approved service providers for transportation using the carrier matrix, mode, service level, and cost efficiency.
  • •Identify shipments at risk of missing secure dates based on mode, service level, miles, and equipment type.
  • •Track vehicles using GPS software and tender to carriers with scheduled and actual pick-up times.
  • •Consolidate shipments to improve efficiency and cost savings and coordinate shipment recoveries with providers.
  • •Report, monitor, and analyze carrier performance to ensure compliance with service metrics and achieve on-time goals.

Key Requirements

  • •Previous experience in transportation or logistics with timely problem resolution.
  • •Ability to plan transportation and handle customs and “white glove” requirements.
  • •Confident communication skills and professional telephone manner.
  • •Strong organizational skills and ability to communicate at all levels.
  • •PC literate with strong organizational ability to work to targets under pressure.
