Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, build, and maintain test setups to validate switches, adapters, and optical transceivers at maximum power envelopes using instrumentation.
  • •Develop and maintain Python automation scripts to control lab instruments, run test sequences, and collect results with minimal manual intervention.
  • •Build data pipelines to aggregate, process, and visualize thermal/electrical test results and support AI-assisted analysis for trends and pass/fail.
  • •Execute thermal validation test plans for air-cooled and liquid-cooled configurations, including operating FLIR cameras, calibrating instrumentation, and using thermometry and DAQ systems.
  • •Identify thermal risks (marginal design, overheating, thermal throttling, hotspots) and coordinate with mechanical/thermal design teams while tracking deliverables with the Qualification PM.

Key Requirements

  • •B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (or closely related hardware discipline), or equivalent experience.
  • •2+ years of hands-on hardware lab experience (industry, military unit, or equivalent).
  • •Proven ability to use lab equipment such as power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal analyzers.
  • •Ability to read and understand schematics and board documentation.
  • •Experience writing test automation or lab scripts in Python (or equivalent).
