Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide BAU front-office support for Analytics + AURA, diagnosing issues and driving service continuity through root-cause fixes with product/technology teams.
  • •Enable Portfolio Managers and the investment team to use HSBC Analytics and AURA via onboarding, user clinics, training materials, and office-hours support.
  • •Own local triage and escalation management for incidents, requests, and enhancements, coordinating resolution across product/engineering/technology teams.
  • •Lead AURA go-live readiness and stabilisation activities, including onboarding, communications, training inputs, runbooks, and hypercare.
  • •Partner on ad-hoc analytical tools and rapid prototypes (e.g., Excel/VBA/Python) and translate recurring needs into scalable platform enhancements with documentation and handover.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • •Knowledge of portfolio management and performance attribution, plus financial markets and financial instruments.
  • •Understanding of risk sensitivities, modern portfolio theory, and security analysis.
  • •Practical experience working with risk or other analytical systems, including performance attribution knowledge.
  • •Programming knowledge in VBA, Python, or R; confident with MS Excel, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
