Job Summary

Senior procurement adviser leading and shaping procurement strategies for complex construction and infrastructure projects. You’ll manage end-to-end procurement lifecycles, advise on contract forms (including NEC), lead competitive processes, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver value for flagship projects across the UK&I market.

•Provide high-quality procurement advice and support to infrastructure clients on flagship projects.
•Lead and/or support sector-leading projects and programmes as the strategic procurement subject matter expert.
•Contribute to expanding and shaping AECOM’s procurement service offering and drive continuous improvement.
•Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-value multi-discipline solutions for clients.
•Support work winning activity, including contributing to proposal documentation.

Key Requirements

•Significant post-qualification knowledge and experience (7+ years) leading the procurement of complex construction and infrastructure projects.
•Experience managing the procurement lifecycle from sourcing through to contract management and supplier engagement.
•Proven project / programme management experience including ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
•Awareness of a range of standard form contracts including NEC.
•Possess strong people skills and be an effective communicator, able to influence, challenge and establish yourself as a trusted advisor.
