Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide hands-on technical leadership for full-stack applications supporting service provider IP and optical network observability and management.
  • •Define platform architecture, technical strategy, and multi-release roadmaps; translate product and operational needs into clear designs and implementation plans.
  • •Design and evolve application workflows for network observability and management.
  • •Improve scalability and performance across services and user interfaces using concurrency, query optimization, batching/streaming, and memory/network/rendering efficiency improvements.
  • •Strengthen security, privacy, and resilience across the software development lifecycle, and raise engineering excellence through code reviews, automated testing, quality metrics, and CI/CD/release practice improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience, or equivalent practical experience.
  • •3+ years hands-on Python development for backend services, with TypeScript and React experience building complex web applications.
  • •Strong expertise in distributed systems, Linux, containers, networking, security, CI/CD, and production troubleshooting.
  • •Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) and agentic engineering workflows.
  • •Ability to translate operator needs into secure, scalable, and reliable software from architecture through production.
