Job Summary

Design, modify, and troubleshoot electrical/RF engineering assemblies, layouts, schematics, and drawings for semiconductor equipment. Key Responsibilities

•Develop and execute complex projects spanning electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithms, and software design; attend design reviews and provide input to meet MRS and hardware/software specifications.
•Design, develop, and test radio-frequency components for semiconductor equipment, including high-power generators (up to 6 kW or more), matching networks, filters, and tuning elements (300 kHz to 60 MHz).
•Write detailed subsystem specifications covering interfaces and ensure designs meet MRS; lead architecture evaluations and down-select to a final system architecture.
•Instrument, characterize, and troubleshoot RF sub-systems within a larger semiconductor tool environment; fabricate or modify RF components to change performance or enable instrumentation access.
•Support system integration during assembly and final testing; define equipment interfaces and system architecture, coordinate with vendors, and resolve integration issues with other groups.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•PhD/ Master/ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with a few years of relevant RF experience.
•Understand principles and operation of network analyzers, oscilloscopes, power meters, directional couplers, and other radio-frequency test equipment.
•Knowledge of circuit theory and ability to develop analytical models of RF components.
•Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders.
