Job Summary

Provide specialized technical support for industrial instrumentation within the electric power generation plant area at Puerto de Cobre Panamá. Execute instrumentation maintenance, diagnose and resolve faults in instruments, control valves, sensors and automated systems, and support root-cause analysis for recurring issues. Maintain technical documentation and SOPs, help standardize practices and drive continuous improvement, coordinate field interventions aligned with HSE standards, and contribute to reliability and preventive maintenance planning.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform specialized maintenance on instrumentation systems for power generation plants.
•Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in instruments, control valves, sensors, and automated systems.
•Analyze technical events and support root-cause identification for recurring failures.
•Keep technical documentation, SOPs, and associated procedures up to date.
•Coordinate field technical interventions and support reliability analysis and preventive maintenance planning.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 7 years of experience in industrial instrumentation.
•Proven experience in electric power generation plants (e.g., turbines, boilers, thermal processes).
•Strong technical knowledge of control valves, pneumatics and hydraulics, industrial sensors, and PLCs/signals.
•Ability to read and interpret technical documentation (manuals, diagrams, etc.).
•Intermediate technical English for reading manuals; valid driver’s license.
