Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate and deliver major development applications and support multi-disciplinary teams across project types.
  • •Assist with project management and apply quality and health and safety principles.
  • •Provide planning advice on consent requirements and permitted development rights.
  • •Carry out planning research and analysis to support planning feasibility reports and consent strategies.
  • •Write planning statements and design and access statements, and lead/submission/management of planning applications with stakeholder liaison and negotiation.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Town Planning or a related discipline (desirable).
  • •Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or an equivalent professional body (desirable).
  • •Demonstrable and relevant experience working on planning applications.
  • •Sound knowledge of English planning policy and legislation.
  • •Ability to write clearly and concisely.
