Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as Chief of Staff to the Head of North America Events, supporting portfolio planning, prioritization, executive reporting, strategic communications, and operating reviews.
  • •Design and continuously improve operating models, governance frameworks, tools, and ways of working to strengthen consistency and efficiency across the portfolio.
  • •Direct portfolio budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and reporting; translate financial and operational data into executive-ready insights and recommendations.
  • •Own event technology ecosystem strategy, implementation, optimization, and adoption; build measurement frameworks (scorecards/dashboards) connecting operational performance to business objectives.
  • •Manage event invitation-management governance, sponsorship asset allocation governance, and key vendor/procurement/compliance relationships; resolve issues across the event lifecycle while leading a team of two.

Key Requirements

  • •12+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 10+ years with an Advanced degree (e.g., Masters/MBA/JD/MD), or 5+ years with a PhD.
  • •10+ years of experience in event operations, business operations, portfolio management, program management, marketing operations, consulting, or a related field.
  • •5+ years of people leadership experience, including leading small, high-impact teams.
  • •Proven success building and running portfolio operating models, governance frameworks, executive reporting, and scalable processes.
  • •Strong understanding of event technology, invitation and attendee operations, data and reporting, automation, and process optimization.
