Key Responsibilities

  • •Identify bid opportunities, conduct site visits, and attend pre-bid meetings.
  • •Analyze take-offs and geotech reports to prepare risk analysis/strategy.
  • •Solicit subcontractors and vendors and handle questions/scope issues.
  • •Ensure DBE goals are met and prepare/submit owner questions.
  • •Prepare bid documents including cost breakdowns, bid bonds, and insurance quotes; support post-bid documents and operations handoff if awarded.

Key Requirements

  • •Equivalent experience in heavy highway construction estimating (roadway estimating required).
  • •4-year degree in construction management or civil engineering is desired but not necessary.
  • •Valid state driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
  • •Knowledge of HCSS and AGTEK Highway 3D; Microsoft Projects and Microsoft Office are a plus.
  • •Strong analytical/problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and time management to meet bid deadlines.
